Fifth International Conference on Learning Cities – Call for researchers

In preparation for the fifth International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC 5), the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and Yeonsu City, Republic of Korea, are commissioning background papers on the three themes related to global health education and emergency response. These papers will contribute to an enhanced understanding of the ways in which lifelong learning policies and practices contribute towards the development of healthy and resilient learning cities.

The papers will focus on the following themes:

  1. Understanding education for health, mental health and well-being in the context of lifelong learning
  2. Strengthening community resilience and learning systems in cities
  3. Transforming cities into spaces for health and well-being

UIL is seeking to recruit senior researchers (authors) specializing in lifelong learning, with a focus on urban and health-related policies.
